Vice President & General Manager, Intel (Former)
Ayse Ildeniz is vice president of the New Devices Group and general manager of Strategy and Business Development at Intel Corporation. She leads a team whose mission is to define future silicon features, products and business models which will help Intel imagine and create groundbreaking future technologies.
Prior to her new role, Ildeniz was the regional director for META (Middle East, Turkey and Africa), a region consisting of 67 countries. During her tenure, she quadrupled Intel’s business in the region by building out country expansions through innovative first- time buyer/digital divide initiatives. Ildeniz joined Intel as marketing director for the Mediterranean, Middle East and Africa region, then served as the Intel Turkey country manager before assuming responsibility for the entire region.
Ildeniz leads a number of social responsibility projects globally and regionally. She is the vice chair of the Technology Committee for OECD, and heads the Turkish Businessmen Association’s Technology and Innovation group, serving as its IT lead at the G20 summits. In addition, she is founder of the Women in IT Platform and a 2010 Eisenhower fellow. She serves on the executive board of the Turkey Informatics Foundation; the Turkish-American Business Council; International Women Forum; and the Advisory Board of KAGIDER (Women Entrepreneurs Association). Ildeniz was selected IT Woman of the Year in 2004 and Female Executive of the Year in 2006 by a Turkish national newspaper.
Ildeniz has a bachelor’s degree from Bosphorus University, Istanbul, and a master’s in electronic communications arts from San Francisco State University.
