Most recently the COO and Chief Innovation Officer of Indical Bioscience, Helen has been the Member of the Management Team Europe, Middle East and Africa at Becton Dickinson/BD Biosciences. Previously Helen was the Head of Global Solution Marketing at Qiagen and in charge of the strategic integration of Qiagen business with bioinformatics. The focus of her work is in the medical diagnostics and life sciences tools industry.

Helen has been named “40 under 40” by the German magazines Capital and Wirtschaftswoche as well as “Manager of the Year” by GenerationCEO.
Born in China and growing up in Germany and with having lived extensively in the US and Switzerland, Helen is globally minded and feels connected to Asia, Europe and the United States.

Helen has served on multiple boards, in academia, non-profits as well as for profit ventures including currently on the advisory board of the Digital Business School of the Nuertingen-Geislingen University. Previously, Helen has been on the Board of the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Germany. Helen is the strategic advisor to Future Coop, a social enterprise in the field of sustainability where she was previously member of the executive board.

Helen lectures on the topics of innovation and leadership at universities and has been a mentor of several startup accelerator programs including Startupbootcamp, Indiebio and Vodafone F-LANE and is an angel investor.
Helen started her career at Bain & Company. She holds an M.A. in Neurobiology from Washington University in St. Louis, a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University and an MBA from European Business School.

Born in Monforte de Lemos (Lugo – Galicia) in 1968, Francisco Conde has a degree in Economics and Business Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid and a PhD in Economics and Business Sciences from the same university. He was a professor at the CEU San Pablo University between 1995 and 2009, where he held different responsibilities.
In 2009 he began a new phase of his career at Xunta de Galicia as advisor to the President and since 2012 he has held various positions in the Galician Government. In May 2022, he took the role of First Vice President and Minister of Economy, Industry and Innovation.

José Manuel Albares Bueno (1972) has been the Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Spain since 10 July 2021.
He has been the Spanish Ambassador to the French Republic and the Principality of Monaco and Secretary-General for International Affairs, European Union, G20 and Global Security at the Office of the President of the Government, acting as a sherpa to the President of the Government both before the European Union and the G20.
A career diplomat. He has been posted to Colombia, France and the Permanent Representation of Spain to the OECD. In his posting to the OECD, he was elected Vice-Chairman of the Development Assistance Committee (DAC).
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Deusto University, specialised in legal-economic matters with a Diploma in Business Science, a Diploma in National Defence from CESEDEN and a Diploma in Cultural Management Aboard from Carlos III University, in collaboration with the Diplomatic School. He founded and coordinated the Circle for International Reflection.
He has been awarded the Commander by Number of the Order of Isabella the Catholic and the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit for Distinguished Services in Peru, the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic and the Grand Cross of the Royal Order of the Pole Star of Sweden.

Julián Cerviño Iglesia is the current Director of the Agency for Technological Modernization of Galicia (AMTEGA).

Between 1998 and 2022 he worked in the private sector, in the field of information systems consulting.

From 1998 to 2007, he held various positions at Soluziona (now Indra), initially as a systems analyst and later directing projects for the Galician Health Service as a senior consultant, where he participated in the design and implementation of the electronic medical record system (IANUS).

In 2007 he founded the company Queres, in which he held the positions of CTO and CFO, while participating in various projects for multiple public and private clients as a senior consultant. This professional stage ended with the sale of the company Queres to the consulting firm Izertis in 2020.

From 2020 to 2022 he was responsible for the Content Management Systems department at Izertis, at the same time as a senior consultant for the Infrastructure and Security Area of Amtega.

He was born in 1974 in Santiago de Compostela (A Coruña). He has a degree in Physical Sciences, specializing in Electronics (1997, USC).
