Ms. Alegría was born in La Zaida, Zaragoza, in 1977.
She has a diploma in Teaching, specialty Primary Education from the University of Zaragoza, and a Master's Degree in Advanced Studies in Social Education from the Complutense University.
Between 2008 and 2015 she was a deputy in Congress, in the IX and she was the PSOE candidate in the Zaragoza municipal elections, being the force with the most votes. Subsequently, she served as spokesperson for the socialist group in the City Council until February 2020 when she was appointed Government Delegate, a responsibility she held until July 2021. She is Minister of Education, Professional Training and Sports and Government Spokesperson since November 2023.
