Short Biography


Cheemin leverages tech to make the seemingly "impossible...possible " and leapfrogs competition with a time to market advantage through digital transformation in the industrial and healthcare sectors. She was CEO of Peritus Partners Inc. until 2023. Prior, she was recruited to scale growth as IBM Vice President running a $3.5b P&L, M&A partner, and other financial expert and "go to market" roles at SMB companies. Also she has served in roles such as digital Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Revenue Officer and multiple roles in mobile, software, energy, semiconductor, and industrial sector companies.

She has previously served on boards of 8 public companies and multiple private companies in Canada, US, Europe, and Australia. She was recognized as 2021 Financial Times "Top 100 " global diverse board directors and 2019 "Top 50 Board of Directors," by the Nat'l Assoc. of Corp. Directors. In 2018, she was named 1 of 20 top " Directors to Watch". In 2022, she was named " Top Woman in Health and Safety" . She has served as Lead Independent Director, Audit Chair , Chair of Compensation, Chair of Nom/Gov/ESG/Technology, Innovation, and Cyber Security. Cheemin is recognized as “Top 100 CEOs Leading STEM,” “Most Influential Silicon Valley Exec” awardee, and inducted into the “Hall of Fame for Women in Technology,” a program supported since US Presidents Bush through Obama, She was also invited to speak at the United Nations, UBS, Barclays, Dow Jones, IEEE, and British Chamber on leveraging digital technologies ( IoT, AI, cybersecurity, big data) and digital marketing to win in global markets and fostering innovation amidst disruptive markets.

She attended the U of Houston earning a Doctorate degree ( Dissertation: Computer based Information Systems and Organizational Change) then Stanford University GSB Executive Program for post-doctorate. For 2017 - 2019, she was appointed Visiting Professor on digital transformation, technologies (social analytics, AI, IoT, and cyber security) and marketing at the joint Columbia University, London School of Business, and Hong Kong University EMBA/MBA program.
