Gopalratnam is a high-performing global, C-suite executive with a proven track record in Business Transformation. He is a skilled strategist in the areas of Digital Transformation, Business Analytics, large-scale IT modernization, Global Operations and creating customer-centric organizations.
As the Chief Information Officer for Philips, he partners with the global Philips leadership team to transform the company into a strong solutions leader in the HealthTech domain by owning and implementing global IT transformation programs and leveraging technology to better serve the customers.
He started his career in engineering consulting, where he developed expertise across various domains, including program management and e-commerce. He joined GE in 2000 where he held different global leadership positions, including Senior Vice President and Business Leader of the Global Analytics Practice.
Prior to Philips, he held various global IT leadership roles at Cisco Systems. His most recent position was Senior Vice President for IT International, in which he was responsible for IT strategy and planning operations across Asia, Europe and North America.
At both GE and Cisco, he delivered significant business value – driving transformations through digitization and creating optimal customer and employee experiences through next-generation technologies.
