Short Biography


Kristin Seaver is vice president for strategic client engagement at General Dynamics Information Technology, where she is responsible for strengthening engagement across federal civilian agencies. She currently leads efforts to deepen mission understanding in government operations, align technical solutioning to mission outcomes, and create exceptional customer relationships build on transparency, trust, and value.

Prior to joining GDIT, Kristin served over 30 years with the United States Postal Service, a $70 billion organization delivering over 40% of the world’s mail. She led in three executive vice president roles including chief retail and delivery officer, chief information officer, and incident commander – coronavirus pandemic, and held numerous leadership positions in engineering, logistics, and operations.

Kristin has excelled in multiple senior executive roles while leading in a highly complex operating environment of public service, statutory obligation, and regulatory requirement.  She has established herself as a transformational leader who harnesses the power of people, technology, and innovation to achieve business objectives and create winning cultures.

She currently serves as a board director for American Postal Infrastructure and is also a member of the U.S. General Services Administration Acquisition Policy Federal Advisory Committee which advises GSA’s administrator on emerging acquisition issues, challenges, and opportunities to support its role as America’s buyer. The current focus for the GAP FAC is on driving regulatory, policy, and process changes required to embed climate and sustainability considerations in federal acquisition.

Kristin earned both a bachelor’s degree in engineering/industrial management and a Master of Business Administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
