In her role Carolina is responsible for leading New Business & Innovation area globally as a new capability to explore, design, innovate and deploy new viable businesses, business models, services and innovative solutions for IKEA.
Industrial Engineer with an MBA by IESE Business School Carolina during last 19 years has developed a successful international career at IKEA. Her journey started in IKEA Barakaldo Store in Spain then moving to Sweden to work in the Global Sales Function. She returned to Spain as Store Manager in IKEA Malaga and opening of IKEA Valencia store and then moved as Deputy CEO for Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary region and after that IKEA Japan.
After leading IKEA Poland as CEO and Chief Sustainability Officer she joined Group Digital in Sweden as Digitalisation Manager to then start the global assignment as Head of New Business and Innovation.
