Patricia is the Lead Privacy Counsel at Logitech and a PICCASO Privacy Leader of the Year Finalist for 2023.
She joined the Global AI Governance & Privacy team at Logitech in 2021. Patricia manages a team advising on cutting-edge information technology, AI governance, data protection, privacy, ethics, compliance, notices, contractual obligations and confidentiality. She is the Lead for LogiWomen EMEA and recognized as a strategic leader for her efforts to empower women and underrepresented communities.
Previously, she worked for the Global Data Privacy team at IBM where her expertise led her to become the lead lawyer for the IBM Research Lab, supporting projects with AI, Machine Learning and Privacy Enhancing Technologies for the healthcare and automotive industries. She was appointed as the Diversity & Inclusion Leader for the European Legal Department. Prior to that, Patricia represented clients in court and outside on a wide range of contentious matters in the Litigation & Arbitration Department at Baker McKenzie. She has notable experience before International Courts of Arbitration including hearings under the ad-hoc rules for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and professional football contracts under FIFA Regulations.
Patricia holds a Bachelor Degree in Law and a specialization in EU Law & International Law, both funded by an Academic Excellence Scholarship and completed with First-Class Honors. She was an Erasmus scholar in Brussels. She furthered her education with a Master’s Degree in Procedural Law. Patricia trained and qualified as both a Barrister and Solicitor in Spain. She currently lives in Dublin and is a public speaker on a variety of topics including privacy, AI governance and female leadership.
